2025 SEMI-COMP COED OUTDOOR 4's VOLLEYBALL INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION (Lakewood)

Welcome to our Summer Outdoor Volleyball League Registration! This league is a coed semi-competitive league; please see the division descriptions below to chose the appropriate registration for you.

DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS:

🏐 Recreational Division: (CLICK HERE FOR THIS REGISTRATION)

Skill Level: Beginner to casual players. All skill levels welcome.
Focus: Fun, fellowship, and building community. Winning is secondary to enjoying the game.
Gameplay: Often more relaxed rules, less emphasis on strict rotation or advanced strategies.

Ideal For:

First-time players or those returning after a long break.
People who enjoy a laid-back atmosphere and social interaction.
Ministry groups looking to include everyone, regardless of skill.

🏐 Semi-Competitive Division *THIS DIVISION IS WHAT YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR*

Skill Level: Intermediate players who know the basics and want more of a challenge. All players should be able to bump, set, & spike with proficiency.
Focus: Balanced—still values community and fun, but with more structure and competitiveness.
Gameplay: Standard rules followed more closely, but still a friendly vibe. Teams are expected to use bump-set-spike consistently.

Ideal For:

Those who’ve played in school, rec leagues, or are looking to improve their skills.
Teams that enjoy competition but still prioritize sportsmanship and ministry goals.

🏐 Competitive Division (CLICK HERE FOR THIS REGISTRATION)

Skill Level: Advanced players with strong fundamentals and competitive experience.
Focus: High-level play and competition, while still reflecting the values of the ministry.
Gameplay: Fast-paced, strategic, and skill-focused. Players likely have volleyball experience at a club, high school, college, or pro level.

Ideal For:

Teams that want to test their skills against top talent.
Players who take the game seriously but still respect the ministry’s purpose and spirit of sportsmanship.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Individual Registration

This registration is if you are registering as a single person, not as a full team. If you have friends you wish to play with, but not enough to fill a full team, use this registration option.
Select, when prompted, that you are registering as an Individual. This will trigger additional questions for you to answer, including a space to list friends you wish to have on your team.
You will be placed on a team with 6 other individuals to ensure your team will have at least 4 players in attendance each week.

LEAGUE DETAILS

DATES: Friday Nights - Starting June 20th (no games 7/4/25)

LOCATION: Lakewood Park *games played on grass*

SEASON: 7 Weeks Long

Games: 6:30PM or 7:30PM game block

FEES: $75/player - $15 off Early Bird Pricing until May 1st, 2025

League changes for 2025: Due to the increasing price of food we have lowered the cost of this league and will not be providing food each night. On tournament night we will be providing snacks for everyone to celebrate the end of the season. Thank you for understanding.
